It is always pretty special photographing people on their wedding day that I have photographed before in some way, shape, or form. Charlotte was a bridesmaid on a wedding I photographed four years ago, and when she emailed me about her own day coming up, we were locked and loaded before the three of us even met up for a wine. Charlotte and Rod had a beautiful, really chilled out day. We took photos of them and their bridal party beforehand at one of my favourite secret spots in the city, so the most time possible was left to spend time with their guests afterwards. That also meant more time to eat the most delicious cheeses I have ever tried, in the gorgeous surrounds of Mantells, and from the most beautiful platters you’ve ever seen. X
