Moana and Chris got married earlier this year in beautiful Nelson which sits at the very top of the South Island of New Zealand. They married on the grounds of a prestigious heritage home, Fairfield House, and held the reception outside in the courtyard in front of the house. I had not been to Nelson since I was a teenager so was thrilled to be able to explore this little part of New Zealand again. Our day started in Ruby Bay with the girls getting ready then after the ceremony in we drove out to Rabbit Island, which lies about 20km west of Nelson, for the bridal party photographs.

These two were so easy-going and relaxed throughout the whole process, they made wedding planning seem easy. Their aim was to have a fun-filled day with their closest friends and family, with a few formalities thrown in between. This was definitely achieved. When we left that evening the windows of the old house were rattling to the point of nearly falling out, and the entire house was heaving with dancing bodies. A huge thank you to you both for having us along, and taking me back to the South Island again.
