Abby and Leon got married in May of this year, at an amazing new inner city venue that you wouldn’t even realise is there when walking past it on the street. Except for this night. On this particular night there was a party of epic proportions going on, and the big old roller door was right up, displaying the beautiful guests inside sipping away on delectable cocktails, dancing up a storm, and feasting upon Mexi Kai’s Mexican-Pacific style street food from the truck parked up outside.
This couple had a fantastic vision when they put this wedding together, and I was beyond thrilled when they asked me to help capture it for them. It was to be a celebration of love, in a stunning urban setting, with a hundred odd of their closest friends. Although it’s hard for me to pinpoint what I loved most about the day (as it was a party I just didn’t want to ever leave), possibly one of my favorite details however, was Abby’s dress. Rue De Seine’s Vintage collection is one to definitely check out if you are a bride-to-be still on the hunt for your dream dress. I actually think Abby may have mentioned at one stage loving it more than her new husband… maybe….
